Le 26 février, Herminé s’est envolée paisiblement, avec à ses côtés ses filles et son Popaul.
Elle laisse dans le deuil son complice de plus de 50 ans Paul, ses filles Lamia (François Tanguay) et Maya (Philippe Leblond), ses petits-enfants qui lui ont donné tant de bonheur (Clara Tanguay, Juliette Tanguay, Marc-Antoine Leblond ainsi que Raphaëlle et Shawn Leblond), son frère adoré Johnny (Vera Nercessian), sa vieille amie devenue belle-sœur Lina Naccache (Pierre Naccache) ainsi que ses neveux et nièces (Ziad Naccache, Mayss Naccache, Nadim Naccache, Angeline Nercessian, Christopher Nercessian, Patrick Nercessian).
Née à Beyrouth de feu Angèle Chaglassian et feu Nercess Nercessian, elle immigre en 1975 à Hartford aux États-Unis après son mariage avec Paul et ils s’établissent à Québec en 1986.
Grande rassembleuse avec une capacité d’accueil incomparable, elle aura été mère adoptive pour plusieurs. Elle était toujours entourée d’amis d’ici et d’ailleurs, amitiés qu’elle chérira tout au long de sa vie.
Sa générosité, sa bonté et son altruisme sans limites n’avaient d’égale que son infaillible intuition humaine et son talent d’organisatrice hors pair, aussi bien au travail que pour les rassemblements familiaux et d’amis.
La famille voudrait remercier Dr. Catherine Doyle et Dr. Lucie Blondeau qui l’ont traitée il y a 16 ans pour ce cancer l’ayant frappée beaucoup trop tôt, lui permettant de gagner tout ce temps parmi nous. Merci également à Dr. Alexandre Lafleur qui l’a connue très brièvement un samedi matin de novembre mais qui a pris le temps nécessaire, ce qui lui a permis de vivre ses derniers mois dans sa maison à sa façon. Merci finalement à l’équipe de soins palliatifs du CLSC Sainte-Foy-Sillery et Dr. Etienne Mathieu qui ont été d’un grand support ces dernières semaines et tout particulièrement lorsque le tout s’est accéléré subitement le 24 février.

Les proches recevront les condoléances de 13 h à14 h 30 suivi d’un hommage à sa vie et d’une réception festive gourmande à son image. On February 26th, Herminé passed away peacefully with her daughters and her Paul by her side.
She leaves behind her sidekick of more than 50 years Paul, her daughters Lamia (François Tanguay), Maya (Philippe Leblond), her grand-children who brought her such joy (Clara Tanguay, Juliette Tanguay, Marc-Antoine Leblond as well as Raphaëlle and Shawn Leblond), her beloved brother Johnny (Vera Nercessian), her long-time friend turned sister-in-law Lina Naccache (Pierre Naccache) and all her nieces and nephews (Ziad Naccache, Mayss Naccache, Nadim Naccache, Angeline Nercessian, Christopher Nercessian, Patrick Nercessian).
Born in Beirut to Angèle Chaglassian and Nercess Nercessian, she immigrated to Hartfond United States in 1975 following her marriage to Paul and finally settled in Quebec City in 1986.
Her hospitality and heart were incomparable, and she became a surrogate mother for many. She was always surrounded by friends from here and afar, friendships that she cherished her whole life.
Her generosity, kindness and altruism without limits were only matched by her infallible human intuition and her amazing organizing skills, which she displayed at work and with her family and friends.
The family wants to thank Dr. Catherine Doyle and Dr. Lucie Blondeau who, 16 years ago, treated her for the cancer that struck her much too early, giving her the chance to share all these years with us. Thanks also to Dr. Alexandre Lafleur who met her only briefly one November Saturday morning but took the time to listen, which allowed her to live these last months at home as she wanted. Thank you finally to the hospice team at CLSC Sainte-Foy-Sillery and Dr. Etienne Mathieu who were of invaluable support these last weeks and especially when everything escalated on February 24th.
A celebration of life ceremony will take place:
Saturday April 12th from 1 pm to 6 pm
Quai du Cap Blanc (615 Boulevard Champlain, Quebec City)
Family and friends will receive condolences from 1 to 2:30 pm, followed by a tribute to her life and then a festive reception as per her wishes. For those who cannot be present, the family invites you to join them virtually for the tribute to her life (the link will follow on this notice at a later time).
